Femi Obidare is the Programme Officer (Governance) and Community Management Officer at the Policy Innovation Centre (PIC). He works within the Behavioural Innovation Lab (BIL), where he leverages behavioural insights and approaches to drive the design, development and implementation of a variety of programs under PIC’s Good-Governance portfolio. Femi also drives the community management efforts of the BIL, with a focus on building communities of practices across different domains. Central to his work is the support of the PIC’s behavioural public policy objectives.
Femi possesses up to fourteen years of experience in leading cross-functional teams in the creation and implementation of strategies for the effective delivery of high stake projects across various industries including edtech, human capital development, power and energy, civic and community engagement. Before PIC, he worked as Consultant, Project Manager, Operations Manager, Communications Coordinator, Trainer and Voice-Over Artiste on projects of national scale, such as the Outage Reporting Platform of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), NOUN iLEARN (National Open University of Nigeria’s online learning platform), Nigeria’s Social Investment Programme (N-Power), Yar’Adua Foundation’s Content Aggregation System for Election observation (CASE 2019), and Financial Literacy Blended e-Learning Project for GIZ & the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Femi holds a Certificate of Public Leadership and Policy (CPLP) from the prestigious School of Politics Policy and Governance (SPPG) and Hertie School of Governance. He received a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in 2021. Femi’s academic background straddles Sociology, Anthropology and Public Policy.
