What participants are saying...

A lot of perspective shifting occurred because of the Gender and Development Course. The course did not just provide academic definitions and applications of gender-related concepts, but also made it possible for me to recognize where contexts exist and how to spot them.

Peter Akinnusi

Partner, Banwo & Ighodalo

Thanks to the GDC faculty, I now have ideas of the methodology and tools for properly assessing gender in crucial issues. The intentionality in selecting facilitators and the entire planning process displays PIC’s hard work in curating the entire program.

Lilian Anomnachi

Executive Director, Technical Advice Connect, TAConnect

GDC is an enlightening course. I now have an in-depth understanding of concepts that I was once familiar with. The course is an eye-opener because I can now identify the things I am doing wrong and how to address them.

Adeola Alabi

Gender Research Associate – International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA)

GDC has changed my overall view of gender because it places so much emphasis on how to translate knowledge into real action. It explains the necessity of gender in our everyday lives as individuals and is very relatable.

Maryam Augie-Abdulmumin

Executive Director, Illmi Children’s Fund
