Through our multifaceted programs, PIC has trained over 300 development practitioners and impacted key sectors through policy advocacy, research, and innovative gender programming. Our work continues to drive systemic change by fostering equitable opportunities, dismantling barriers, and promoting social inclusion across Africa.
The Gender and Inclusion Summit is delivered as a two-day hybrid event, featuring a Youth Summit, Plenary, Breakout Sessions, Oral and Poster Presentations, Creative/Art Competitions, as well as an exhibition booth display.

The summit has catalyzed key national initiatives such as the development of Nigeria’s Women Economic Empowerment (WEE) Policy, the kickoff of the Gender Policy in Agriculture across six Nigerian states, and the introduction of the WEE Communication Toolkit amongst others.
Notable outcomes of the summit include the annual release of the Purple Book, which offers actionable policy and program recommendations, driving continuous progress toward gender inclusion in Nigeria and beyond.
