David Ogar is the Senior Creative Design Officer at the Policy Innovation Centre (PIC), where he leads the creation of impactful visual communications that transform complex research, policy, and evidence into clear, engaging, and accessible design solutions. He oversees the development of policy reports, publications, infographics, presentations, digital campaigns, and multimedia content that enhance research uptake and stakeholder engagement. David also ensures consistency in PIC’s visual identity while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver creative solutions that effectively communicate evidence and inspire action.
Prior to joining the Policy Innovation Centre, David served as Design Lead at Fiona Peters International, where he led branding, publication design, digital communications, and visual storytelling projects across the development, corporate, and nonprofit sectors. His expertise spans creative direction, report design, motion graphics, photography, video production, and brand identity, delivering strategic visual solutions that communicate complex ideas with clarity and impact.
David holds a B.A. Hons in English. He uses design for social change through visual storytelling, creative strategy, data visualization, and branding to amplify research, influence policy, and drive sustainable institutional impact.
