Bukola is the Gender and Inclusion Research Lead at the Policy Innovation Centre (PIC), where she ensures that PIC’s gender and inclusion work is grounded in credible, contextually relevant research and that findings reach decision-makers, partners, and practitioners in accessible and actionable formats. She is responsible for leading the development and implementation of gender and social inclusion research, overseeing study design, data collection, analysis, evidence synthesis, and knowledge production to inform policy and programming. As part of her role, Bukola drives stakeholder engagement, research uptake, resource mobilization, and partnerships while ensuring high-quality, ethical, and gender-responsive research outputs that contribute to policy reform and organizational learning. 

Prior to joining PIC, she led various projects across the public and private sectors and also consulted for reputable local and international NGOs, including MTV SHUGA, Population Council, Society for Family Health (SFH), and APIN, serving as a lead consultant and research consultant. She is skilled in field research, stakeholder engagement, and team coordination, leveraging these strengths to deliver evidence-based insights and measurable social impact. 

Olubukola obtained her Ph.D. in Sociology, with a specialization in Gender Studies, from the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Lagos.
