Hadiza is a Programme Advisor in the Research Unit at the Policy Innovation Centre. In this role, she supports the design and implementation of research-driven programmes, with a focus on gender and social norms. She works closely with internal teams and external partners to coordinate research activities, adapt tools for local contexts, and lead stakeholder engagement processes that inform programme design and delivery.
Prior to this role, Hadiza designed and supported gender-focused development programmes with a strong emphasis on adolescents, integrating research, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge generation. With a background in education and expertise in social-emotional learning and safeguarding, she has consistently ensured that interventions are inclusive, contextually relevant, and promote safe, supportive environments for young people.
Hadiza holds degrees in Economics and Development and Security Studies, along with certification in safeguarding. She brings a strong blend of analytical thinking, programme implementation expertise, and a commitment to improving outcomes for adolescents and communities.
