Hanifa is a Strategic Communications Advisor at the Policy Innovation Centre. She supports the design and implementation of the organisation’s communications strategy across programmes, campaigns, and policy engagement, and provides strategic guidance on messaging, framing, and narrative development to advance PIC’s mission.
Prior to joining PIC, she contributed to high-profile initiatives, including the EU-funded Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Programme, the EU-UN Spotlight Initiative Project, and the NESG/PIC Gender Inclusion Summit. She has also supported organisations such as Rain Barrel Communications, Dataphyte, ACE Charity Africa, and Population Council, contributing to advocacy, communications, and social impact initiatives.
Hanifa has completed training in Strategic Communications and Issues, Crisis, and Reputation Management, both accredited by the CPD Standards Office, UK, and is currently pursuing a Certificate in Public Leadership and Policy (CPLP) at the School of Politics, Policy and Governance. She has also completed coursework in behavioural insights and public policy, including programmes by UNICEF and the University of Michigan.
