Mercy is a Behavioural Economist at the Policy Innovation Centre (PIC), where she applies economic and behavioural frameworks to convert data into actionable insights that shape policy and technical solutions. As a core member of PIC’s Behavioural Insights Team, she designs evidence-based, scalable interventions and guides their implementation across multiple sectors.  

Prior to joining PIC, Mercy led and supported projects in technology, education, and humanitarian programmes. she has a strong track record of combining rigorous research with pragmatic project management to design data-driven interventions, coordinate diverse stakeholders, and deliver measurable program results with precision and excellence. 

She holds a Master’s degree (Distinction) and a First-Class Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Nile University of Nigeria, and is a Certified Data Analyst through NITDA’s 3 Million Technical Talent Program. Mercy is committed to translating behavioural theory into high-impact solutions that advance systemic change.
