Olise Onwuka is the ICT Lead at the Policy Innovation Centre (PIC), where he provides operational leadership for the organisation’s IT infrastructure, systems, and digital platforms. He is responsible for managing PIC’s technology environment, including networks, cloud services, enterprise systems, and cybersecurity frameworks, ensuring high standards of reliability, security, and performance. Olise leads the delivery of technical support services, oversees IT helpdesk operations, and drives the implementation of system upgrades and new technology solutions that enable staff and programmes to operate efficiently.
In his role, he coordinates IT onboarding and offboarding processes, and manages vendor relationships, asset inventory, and procurement of IT resources. He also ensures compliance with data protection policies, conducts risk assessments, and leads cybersecurity awareness efforts across the organisation. Prior to his promotion to ICT Lead, Olise served as Programs Communication Lead, where he contributed significantly to organisational communications and programme delivery, demonstrating strong cross-functional expertise and a track record of high performance.
Olise brings a blend of technical, operational, and strategic experience to his role, positioning him to drive efficient IT service delivery and support PIC’s broader mission. He holds a Master’s degree in Information Management and professional certifications in Data Management and Information Technology, underpinning his commitment to leveraging technology for organisational effectiveness and innovation.
