Adanna currently serves as a Research Economist at the Policy Innovation Centre (PIC), where she contributes to research projects across key thematic areas, supporting research design, data validation, report development and review, as well as field research activities 

She is an Economics graduate from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), with experience spanning policy analysis, research, and development initiatives. Her interests lie at the intersection of evidence-based policymaking, sustainable development, and gender equity. 

Prior to her role at PIC, Adanna worked as a researcher with the Policy Analysis and Research Group (PARG), where she strengthened her analytical skills while contributing to organisational projects for over three years and serving as a team lead. Through this experience, she developed expertise in coordination, analysis, and translating findings into actionable insights. 

Beyond research and policy, Adanna is passionate about storytelling and amplifying underrepresented voices. She contributes as a creative writer with Global Voices and PSJ UK, using storytelling to highlight social issues and foster meaningful conversations. She has also engaged in gender and inclusion initiatives, including co-hosting the PIC’s Youth Town Hall Session at the 2025 Gender and Inclusion Summit, which explored ways to engage young people in shaping Nigeria’s future. 

Committed to lifelong learning and sustainable development, Adanna has completed certification courses offered by Harvard University and the World Bank Learning Group, further enhancing her understanding of global development challenges and evidence-based solutions.
