Oluwaseyi is a Data Specialist at Policy Innovation Centre (PIC), where he applies advanced data analytics, modelling, and visualisation techniques to strengthen research outputs, monitoring and evaluation systems, and programme decision-making. In his role, he leads the development of data-driven tools and interactive dashboards, supports the integration of artificial intelligence and innovative analytical approaches into PIC’s evidence systems, and translates complex datasets into clear, policy-relevant insights for diverse stakeholders. He also oversees data governance processes to ensure data quality, integrity, security, and compliance across research and programme activities. 

Before assuming his current role, Oluwaseyi served as a Quantitative Data Analyst at PIC, contributing to major national and sub-national studies including the Nigeria Survey on Gender Norms, Attitudes, Health and Wellbeing, the Edo State Digital Readiness Study, the Learning Poverty and Outcomes Study, among other projects. His expertise spans advanced statistical analysis, survey methodology, performance measurement, and data systems management, with practical experience supporting large-scale field operations, real-time data quality assurance, and evidence synthesis for policy and programme development. 

Oluwaseyi holds a Master’s degree in Information Management and has built strong technical capacity in data science, research analytics, and monitoring and evaluation. He is proficient in tools such as Power BI, SPSS, NVivo, KoboToolbox, and Excel, and continues to expand his expertise in machine learning, econometrics, and AI applications for development research. He is passionate about using data and technology to drive social impact, strengthen institutional learning, and improve evidence-based policymaking across Africa.
