Yejide is the HR Officer at Policy Innovation Centre, where she lends her expertise across the full spectrum of human resources operations, from talent management and recruitment to compliance and organizational development. She partners with teams across the organization to navigate employee relations, interpret HR policies, and ensure seamless hiring and onboarding processes. She also supports the development of contract terms for new and transitioning staff, analyses HR trends and metrics to recommend practical improvements, and assists with training coordination and workplace investigations.
Through it all, her focus remains the same: building an environment where people feel engaged, fairly treated, and empowered to do their best work. Prior to joining PIC, Yejide spent several years building a solid HR foundation across the tech and NGO sectors. She has hands-on experience managing HRIS systems, processing payroll, and maintaining accurate HR records, bringing both precision and reliability to the operational side of HR. Over time she took on greater responsibility, moving into more strategic work around recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, and culture building. She has also supported HR operations within donor funded development projects, giving her a well-rounded perspective across different organizational environments.
Yejide holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and Literature from the University of Lagos and continues to invest in her professional growth through HR certifications and continuous learning. She is passionate about creating people-centered workplaces that support both organizational success and employee wellbeing
